DOOR SMART LOCK

Keyless door locks, or smart locks, let you enter your home without a physical key. They have a smartphone app that allows for remote control. A numeric keypad for entering a special access code is a feature found on many versions of locks.

By connecting to the WiFi network in your house, a smart lock can be programmed to lock or unlock with a code or a smartphone command.

Certain smart locks fit over your current lock system or just require minor adjustments, while others require you to replace your entire lock system.

Smart locks have the ability to interface with other gadgets, such as your security system or smart speaker, when they are part of a larger smart home integration. To make all the devices function together, though, they must be linked to a smart home hub.
